Pickleball Courts
The answer: PickleBall.
PickleBall turns 50 this year and is one of the fastest growing activities — especially among seniors. There are over 2,000 PickleBall locations in the United States, doubling the 2010 total, according to the USA PickleBall Association, which attributes the growth to the sport’s popularity in community centers, physical education classes, YMCAs and retirement communities.
Wyboo Plantation has two newly built PickleBall Courts.
Location: Located next to the Community Center
North and South Lakes
Situated just off the point of Wyboo Creek are North & South Lakes. Along these shores are picturesque waterfront homesites for both patio style and custom homes.
A uniquely designed boat lift provides residents with a quick, direct access to the waters of Lake Marion.
In addition to being a safe haven for watercraft, these waters are a magnet for various species of wildlife from herons and egrets to mallards, wood ducks, mergansers and canada geese. Occasionally, one can even get a close up look at the magnificent bald eagle.
